Common Mistakes When Installing High-Frequency in Five-Constant Main Units

There are many failed cases with the Five-Constant System, and it's not about the quality of the main unit, but mistakes during installation. Here are some common industry errors that should be carefully avoided in the Irupu Five-Constant project:

Skip the load estimation and choose the main unit based on experience

Many contractors just estimate the number of units based on area, ignoring wall insulation, door and window airtightness, and local humidity load. For layouts with poor insulation or lots of floor-to-ceiling windows, the cooling and humidity load can rise significantly. If the main unit is undersized, it can't meet comfort standards during the rainy season or extreme hot and cold weather; if it's oversized, the unit cycles on and off frequently, consuming more energy and shortening its lifespan. For all Yierpu Five-Constant projects, it's mandatory to first calculate the load for each room before deciding on the main unit plan.

Ignore the hydraulic balance adjustment, just do the pressure test without adjusting the flow

Just checking for leaks isn't enough; hydraulic balance is key to fixing uneven heating and cooling in rooms. In multi-terminal parallel systems, if you don't do hydraulic balancing, the circuits near the source will have high flow while the ones farther away will have low flow, making the living room cool and the bedroom hot. After installation, you have to use a flow meter to calibrate the flow for each branch.

The ceiling radiant system doesn't pay attention to dew point protection, it just relies on the main unit's algorithm.

The automatic dew point tracking algorithm is a software protection, but on the hardware side, ceiling insulation, room humidity sensors, and pipe insulation are all essential. Many projects skip the humidity sensor, and if the ceiling isn't properly sealed, condensation and water leakage occur during the rainy season, causing the ceiling to mold and get damaged. For ceiling radiation systems, each room must have a humidity sensor linked to the main unit for protection.

Simplified fresh air dehumidification system, using a regular fresh air unit instead of a dedicated five-constant dehumidifier

Regular ventilation fans don't have deep dehumidification capabilities. In high-humidity areas in the south, just using a regular fan can't keep indoor humidity consistently below 60%. To control humidity with a Five-Constant syst1. Waterway filter: A Y-shaped filter at the front end of the manifold. It's recommended to clean it every six months to catch pipeline impurities and protect the main unit heat exchanger.
2. Fresh air dehumidifier filter: Clean the primary filter of the fresh air dehumidifier every 3-6 months, and replace the high-efficiency filter every 1-2 years to ensure consistent air quality.
3. Seasonal maintenance: Before turning on the system each year for cooling or heating season, have a professional check the main unit's refrigerant pressure, pump operation, and sensor calibration.
4. Humidity sensor: Calibrate the temperature and humidity probe every 2 years to ensure accurate data collection and proper dew point protection logic.
5. Daily use: Don't turn off the system power arbitrarily, as long-term power cuts can affect system protection logic. Don't leave doors and windows open for long periods, since this breaks the building's airtightness and increases the main unit's load.em, you need a professional ventilation and dehumidification unit that decouples temperature and humidity to really achieve constant humidity.

Cutting corners on pipe insulation, the insulation layer is too thin and the joints aren't sealed

If the cold water pipes' insulation is damaged, the water vapor in the air will condense when it meets the cold surface, dripping and damaging the ceiling and walls. The insulation material must meet the design thickness standards, all joints should be fully sealed, and valves on the pipes should have their own insulation wrapping without being exposed.

Ignore the shock absorption and noise reduction details

The main unit, fan coil, and fresh air dehumidifier won't use vibration-damping parts, so the equipment's vibrations travel through the walls and pipes into the room, creating low-frequency noise and ruining the core advantage of Wuheng's 'constant quiet.' Vibration pads for the outdoor unit, vibration-hanging hooks for the indoor unit, and flexible pipe connections are all installation accessories you can't skip.
