Low failure rate
R290 has stable chemical properties, does not acidify, hydrolyze, or corrode copper pipes and heat exchangers. Unlike some refrigerants, it does not produce acidic substances upon contact with water that can corrode system pipelines, nor does it have issues with refrigerant stratification or performance degradation. The entire unit operates stably, with an annual failure rate far lower than that of traditional refrigerant heat pumps.
